Four steps between the law and go-live.
Most of the work isn't technical. It's knowing what's in scope, picking the right provider and cleaning up the data your invoices are built from.
Understand the mandate
What counts as an e-invoice, how the UAE's Peppol-based exchange model works, and which transactions and parties are in scope.
Follow the law
Work from the current Ministerial Decisions, FTA guidance and technical data dictionary, and keep up as they change.
Choose your ASP
Compare accredited providers on integration, security, support, pricing and fit, then sign with confidence.
Implement and run
Master data, ERP connection, testing, training, exception handling and support through and after go-live.
When your business needs to act.
Dates follow Ministerial Decision No. 244 of 2025, as amended by Ministerial Decision No. 66 of 2026. Confirm your own obligations with your tax adviser.
Not sure which phase applies to you? Ask us and we'll confirm it on a short call.
A PDF invoice is not an e-invoice.
Sending a PDF by email won't meet the mandate, however good it looks. What matters is structured data that systems can validate, exchange and report automatically.
PDF or paper invoice
- Made for people to read
- Re-keyed or scanned by the buyer
- No automatic checks on content
- Not reported to the tax authority in real time
E-invoice under the UAE mandate
- Structured data in the PINT AE format
- Exchanged through Accredited Service Providers
- Validated field by field before delivery
- Tax data reported to the FTA as part of the flow
Eight questions to put to every provider.
The official list tells you who is accredited. It doesn't tell you who fits your business. We score shortlisted providers on these eight points.
Integration

Peppol track record
Live volumes and years operating, here and abroad.
Product ownership

Data and security
Hosting location, certifications and data retention.
Exception handling
How rejected invoices are flagged, fixed and resent.
Service and support
Local hours, languages, response times and SLAs.
Onboarding capacity
Can they deliver for you before your deadline?
